About
The Weigher of General Commodities has the responsibility to:* weigh, survey, or measure any commodity requiring such validation
* keep accurate records in the form required by the Director of Standards
* make records available to the Director of Standards and the Sealer of Weights and Measures
At least one weigher, measurer, and surveyor in each town shall not be engaged in the business of buying, selling, or transporting the goods or commodities weighed, measured, or surveyed by that person.
