The Electrical Inspector:* is responsible for all electrical inspections to ensure proper safety measures
Electrical permits are issued by the Building Department.
There is also an Alternate Electrical Inspector, who functions in the absence of the regular inspector.
The Electrical Inspector is compensated for the required inspections from a portion of the fees collected in conjunction with the issuance of permits.
