Pollinator gardens are about a lot more than bees and butterflies. Regenerative landscape designer Trevor Smith will discuss everything you need to know when it comes to designing and planting a pollinator garden. Beyond our six legged friends though Trevor will also share how your garden can play a huge role in rebuilding the local ecosystem and help create climate resilience. Start planning your spring garden with pollinators in mind.
Facilitator: Trevor Smith is owner and lead designer of Land Escapes Designs in Belmont, a landscape firm specializing in regenerative land care. For the past 20 years he has focused on improving planet and community through his projects and educational outreach. As past president of the Ecological Landscape Alliance, he worked to bring vital information, resources and educational materials to the landscape design community. Trevor is a recipient of the Greenovate Boston Award as well as the EPA Environmental Merit Award. He is a regular contributor to landscape magazines and newsletters and a regular speaker at industry events.
