Era of Persistent Conflict: from the Vietnam War to Today’s Complex World – MG(Ret) Bruce Zukauskas will present a lecture on the dynamics of the US Army and the use of military power over the last 50 years. He will also discuss some of the challenges facing our military in the next decade. He will draw upon his own personal experiences and insight from his Army career that spanned over 40 years from the Vietnam War Era to the recent conflicts in the Middle East. A Question and Answer session will follow the lecture.
Major General Zukauskas is a 1973 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He is a graduate of the Field Artillery Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Infantry Officer Advanced Course, the Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College. He also has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
