22nd Annual Groton Town Forest Trail Races on Sunday, October 20th.
The 9.5 mile race starts at 12:30 pm and the 3.4 mile race starts at 12:40 pm. Family rates are available, and awards go to the top 2 finishers in each 10-year age group (there are separate M/F groups).

All proceeds of this race are donated to the Trails Committee by the Squannacook River Runners, and it has been the only source of funding for Groton trails maintenance, besides personal donations, since the Trails committee was formed in 1998.
