Sargisson Beach Committee Looking for Volunteers
The Sargission Beach Committee is looking for volunteers on Saturday, May 3rd at 9:00 AM to help prepare the beach for the upcoming season.

9AM start at Sargisson Beach Parking area, if you arrive later walk down to the beach.
Directions: Drive North on Whiley road from 4-corners near Shaws. Look for the Sargisson Beach Conservation Land sign on you left.
The beach will be re-opening on May 26th, 2025! We have a number of projects we need your help with to get it ready! Come down and meet your fellow neighbors and residents of Groton and help cleanup the beach.
Activities:
- Beach cleanup, raking leaves and pine needles and deposit in the weed harvester trailer
- Trash pick-up along the beach
What to wear:
- work gloves
- closed toed shoes/hiking boots
- long pants
Hand Tools:
- leaf rakes
- hard rake
- shovel
- shears for small branches
- tarp for leaves
