The Groton Democratic Town Committee is sponsoring a local candidates’ night on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 7 p.m. by Zoom. The virtual event will be facilitated by Robert Gosselin, retired town meeting moderator. The candidates for Select Board will make presentations and take questions from the public. The public will be able to type questions using the Q & A function of Zoom (not the chat), and the questions will be read to the candidates. After the Q & A, candidates for uncontested offices will be able to announce their names and which office they are running for (please RSVP). The Town of Groton has graciously offered their Zoom account and technical staff to assist Mr. Gosselin. To participate, the Zoom meeting ID is 883 7121 5849.
