Tax Relief for Elders and Disabled
T.R.E.A.D. is a Town Committee that provides financial assistance to elderly and disabled residents of Groton who are struggling to pay their property taxes. Our goal is to help alleviate the burden of property taxes on those who are most vulnerable in our community, and to ensure that they are able to remain in their homes and continue to live independently.
By encouraging donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations, we aim to build a sustainable source of funding for this important program and to create a strong, more supportive community for all residents of Groton.
