Groton Reads & Gardens 2023! Great events now through March 31 at the Groton Public Library! And two great reads, too!
Groton Reads Annual Community-wide Reading Event Returns!
The Groton Public Library is pleased to announce Groton Reads and Gardens 2023!
Our theme was inspired by the Groton Garden Club’s 100th Anniversary this year. Groton Reads is a time-honored event made possible thanks to the GPL Endowment Trust, community members, and local organizations. This year, we have selected two titles for community members to read and discuss that celebrate gardening and sustainability efforts within our local environment.
Pick up the a copy of the compelling readable and hopeful Nature’s Best Hope by Douglas Tallamy and/or the delightful memoir, Gardening in Eden by Arthur Vanderbilt II. Copies available at the library now and through March 31 as simultaneous ebook downloads on OverDrive (both) and as downloadable audiobook on Hoopla (Nature’s Best Hope only) – free to every resident with a library card.
Sign up for events now! Go to https://gpl.org/adults/groton-reads for more info!
