8AM start at Sargisson Beach Parking area, if you arrive later walk down to the beach.

Directions: Drive North on Whiley road from 4-corners near Shaws. Look for the Sargisson Beach Conservation Land sign on you left.
The beach will be re-opening with lifeguards in Summer 2019! We have a number of projects we need your help with to get it ready! Come down and meet your fellow neighbors and residents of Groton and help cleanup the beach.
Activities:
1. Beach cleanup, raking leaves and pine needles and deposit in the weed harvester trailer
2. Trim dead branches and cleanup storm damage
3. Trash pickup in a few areas and along the road.
What to wear: work gloves, closed toed shoes/hiking boots, long pants.
Hand Tools: leaf rakes, hard rake, shovel, shears for small branches, and tarp for leaves .
