Effective, April 29, 2019 the Ayer Rail Trail Parking Lot will be closed for construction until December 31, 2019.
This closure will have an immediate impact on commuter parking availability in Ayer. The parking situation in Ayer is already at a critical demand, hence the importance of this project which when completed will add 85 more parking spaces.
In an effort to mitigate these impacts, MART and the Town of Ayer will be providing very limited parking at Depot Square (located at the Commuter Rail Platform in Ayer). This limited parking will be approximately 30-40 spaces and on a first come, first serve basis.
